Marc Boldt for Clark County Commissioner in 2008. As your Commissioner, Marc Boldt has provided four years of strong leadership and
fiscal responsibility to County government by creating a balanced, sustainable budget
and by curbing excessive regulations that hurt our businesses and industries.
Since 2004, Marc has been leading the charge to make Clark County government more
efficient. He believes the best way to promote economic growth is to create an environment
that attracts business. Over-regulation and unnecessary fees take away from
economic stability and growth.

I will continue to advocate for business investment in our community.”
Marc Boldt is a lifelong county resident. He cares deeply about our citizens and the
environment. He believes in the economic vitality of our region and is fully committed to
making Clark County government truly serve our citizens. For the past four years, he has
a proven record of leadership in county government.
Marc was also an effective leader in Washington State’s Legislature representing the 17th
District from 1994 to 2004. He has worked tirelessly to protect private property owner’s
rights and to create family wage jobs here in Southwest Washington.
Marc Boldt has worked successfully to bring more accountability to the Columbia Gorge
Commission. He’s sponsored many bills throughout his decade of distinguished public
service to advocate for small business, protect our quality of life and bring tax relief to
the citizens of Clark County. As your County Commissioner,
he will continue to lead the charge for government efficiency and accountability.
