Marc Boldt in the News

Campaign Release, July 20th, 2012
“Building Industry Association [BIA] gives Marc Boldt early endorsement”

Clark County Commissioner Marc Boldt received a telephone call late this evening announcing that he has received an early endorsement from the Building Industry Association [BIA]. The Building Industry Association will officially release information to the media on Monday.

In receiving the endorsement call, Clark County Commissioner stated that he appreciated the overwhelming message that he has "time and time again" fought for the rights of the building industry to do business in Washington State. By taking the stand for effective government and free enterprise, it was shared that his "passion" for supporting an uncompromising commitment to create a political environment that advocates for affordable housing, the free market, protected property rights and promoted healthy growth for Clark County resulted in this early endorsement. As an "advocate" for building Clark County, he was informed that it was widely repeated that his recognition for local workers and their contribution to the economy has made the difference that we are now seeing within the industry.

"Thank you to the builders, the members of the Building Industry Association for doing everything within their power to ensure that the industry's voice is heard loud and clear by making this early endorsement."
-Marc Boldt
Clark County Commissioner, District 2
